Lord Baden-Powell tlien buried a hatcbct at the centre of the wheel ancl tlien clas])ed the liands of the ncarest hoys, who in turn clasped the liands of the othors, tlie friendship circulating from liand to liand riglit rouncl the wheel and up and down the spokes. the Scouts singing "Aukl Lang Syne.'' The pageant made tlie deepest impression on Lord Baden-Powell, who was mucli aff'ected hy the demonstration cf goodwill.
