FOR SLEEPING IN MOTOR CAR. FOUND IN INT OXICATED CONDITION.

WELLINGTON. This day. After attending a function rt the Officers' Club in lionour of the officers of tiie French cruiser, Charles Stanley Clark was found iu his car asleep in an intoxicated condition, and, with another man, also under the influence, was arrested. It was explained in court that Clark had realised that he was not in a condition to drive and had therefore decided to rest in the car but had fallen asltep. The magistvate thought that a fine would meet the case and a fine of £20 was imposed.
