She woi'c wliite satin slxoes and carried a sliower iiouquet of freesia-. orcliids. with a toucli of pink. Ihe beautiful frilk net veil was silk oxnbroidered aiul fell over lier face wlien slie entered tlie clnxrcli, being tlirowu back olf the face aftcr the service. Tlie bride's sister, Miss Graee Siinth, was in attendance as bridesmaiil, and was picturosquely frocked in priinrose rreox-gette. the bodico of t?eoi'gette, with long waist efrect, and silk net skirt falling in points to tlie ankles. Silyer shoes' were worn. and a silver -Txilxet cap, witli a posy at oue side. A dainty bouquet of yeilow roses and maidenhair fern was caryied. Mr D. Joll. of Havelock North. ahly carried out tlie duties of hcst man. Subsequentlv the gucsts motored out to the home of tlie bride's parents, whrro a. rcception was held. Tho reeeption room was prettily decorated with blue and gold, with evergreen s artistically arranged, and 80 gucsts nceepted tlie layisli hospitality of Mr and N Ui~s Smitli. jMrs Snxitli. tlie bride's motlier, wore a model frock of chenille and a cheuille co-at. Mrs Donkin. tlie bridegroom's motlier, xvoro black crepe de chine and a black velour ooat. Toasts and liappy speeches were givon and wlien leaving on tlie honeymoon the ponular youug couple ran through a shower of confetti and heartiest congratulations. The bride loolcod elianning in her trnvelling frock of Royal blue georgette. xvith flared skirt, nnd long tiglit-fitting sleeves set in tlie hodice.
