However- when tlie timo came to eat tlie pork was produced, but according to reports, is ailegecl to have been tiie worse for its journey, and tlie dinei's did not evcn trouble lo ask for apple sauce. Instead, they dcparted en masse for their Itomes, where no clouht they satisfied their appetites. The men were supposecl to have worked till 10 o'clock last night, but having been disappointed in their evening meal tliey decided unanimously not to return to the scene of activities that niglit. It is understood tliat the incident lias concluded, and work proeeeded as usual to-dav. '
