RESULTS FROM HAVELOCK. Many riders started in the cycle race of the Havelock Athletie Club on Saturday. Mr Brady was able to attend and .officiate in his cafiacity of handicapper. The course was from Havelock Fire Station, down Te Aute road, through Crawford' s Lane and baek by the Middle Road, The results were :— Joliansen (24min. 22 l-5sec) ... ... 1 Vernon (24min. 22 2-5sec.) 2 "Miller (2omin.) ... ... 3 Johanseh made the fastest "time. Joliansen and Vernon paced eaeb other all the way and finished with a splendid dash. The race for juniors. once round the eourse, resulted:— T. Heenan \(8min. 56sec.) 1, G. Christie (9niin. 33 sec) 2, B. Vernon 3. Five started.
