LAST NJGHT'S' RECITAL. A FINE PROGRAMME. The Hastings Citizens' Band held one of their xnost successful concerts of the season in the iMnnicipal Tlieatre last night. Delightful Aveather conditions AA'ere recorded, and this' 110 doubt induced many people out oi doors, for the attendance Avas tlie best recorded for a long time. Under the baton of Mr OBryant, the band Avas in good forni, and rendei-ed a number of really enjoyable selections. Mrs Rattray, of Auckland, very pleasingly rendered vocal solos, and Mr E. Ellis also contributed songs to the prograinine. Recitations given bv little Miss Mauveen Finlinson proved very enjoyable and a violin solo Avas given by Mr Curry. Bandmaster Taylor Avas also heard in a comet solo.
