TYRE COMING OFF RIM CAUSES MISHAP. NO INJURIES SUSTAINED BY OCCUPANTS. A rear tyre which came off the rim was the c-ause of a mishap on the main Napier- Hastings road on Saturday evening. in which a closed car sustained dnmage, hufc fortunatelv. nohody was in jured. Tlie^ car in question was being driven b.v Mr Frasev Baddelev, of Napier, and at the titne of the accideht lie was driving in from Hastings. . He had pnlle'd out to pass another car when one of his bat-k tyres came eleaii away f-rom the firn and' iu endeavouring to pull u p. . tlie car was turned completely over. Luckily nohody was injured. and .the 'main* damagc- to the car was sustained to the roof. While the car was in this position quite a prqcessioii of cars formed,.but it- was soon riglited and the road cleared. -
