NEW YORK, Aug. 19. At Philadelpliia, Mickey Walker (1661bs). world's middleweiglit champion, establislied a strong claim to tlie light heavy-weight title, soon to be relinquislied by Tonimy Lougbnan, by winning a ten-round decision from Leo Lomski (172;J). Until tlie fifth round Lomski was superior, and almost knocked out Walker. Then Walker staged a courageous come-baek and fouglit furiously to win the decision. The winner's best blows were with both fists to the head.
