HASTINGS CITIZENS' BAND
WIND-UP OF CARD GAMES. LAST NIGHT' S WINNERS. Another very enjoyable series of card ^ames were played in the Hastings UitTzens' Band room last night. These games marked the conclusion of the second series of games for which valunble points prizes were offered, and it has now been decided to go into recess tqv a few weeks, after which the games Evil. be resumecl. Last night's games resulted in a win for Mrs Walden, with Mrs Loredo second, the nien's prize aeing taken hy Mr Hague, with Mr ETanuah second. For the series points prize, Mrs "Walden was the winner, Mr Hague securing the men's tropky.
