H.B. AERO CLUB
PURCHASE OF ANOTHER NEW 'PLANE. A GENEROUS ACTION. The Hawke's Bay Aero Club has now decided to purchase another aeroplane so that increased facilities for instruction may be afforded trainees. Already a sum of £120 has been promised towards the cost, and it is hoped that in the near future, members will be able to make solo flights, preparatory to obtaining their pilot's certificate. Mr Nelson Smith had generously handed back to the club £50 worth of debentures held by him, an action which is very greatly appreciated by the club. Mr J. S. Butler has been appointed auditor of the club, Mr R. D. Brown having taken over the secretaryship.
