Tbe AYclsh cliiklren's world-wide wireless niessage was for tlie eiglvth •year in succession broadcast on May 18, "Goodwill Day."- The Bugby h-igh-power station began broadcasting the message in tbe morning, and in tbe evening it was simultaneuosly broadcast by Erance from Eiffel Towei", Lyons, Bordeaux, Marseilles and Toulouse stations. Tt ivas sent out ako from places as far nortli as Oslo as far east as Warsaw, and as far west at Madrid and Barcelona. Japan broadcast its own message from Tokio. The Welsh children's message reads : "From our hills and vales, our villages and towns, tlie bovs and girls of Wales greet with a clieer the boys and girls in every country under the sun. Our liearts are thriili:! by the wonderful response to our yea-« !y message, and we clierisli tbe many new links of friendship wliieli we have formed. Will you, millions of you, join with us to-dav in thinking with gratitude of those men and women of every race who are working so liard to build a finer aud hettcr world? Next- year, in 1930, the League of Xations will celebrate its tentli hirthdav. Let us detciuiiiue, liere and now, to help it, with all our power, to go fovward with its great task of realising peace 011 earth ancl gcod will among men."
