The third fatality was that in whicb Mr Charles McPeak suffered a broken neck wben a car capsized 011 a bank at Gibbs' Hill, Mangatera. Miss Alberta May Sugden, second daugliter of Mrs A. Sugden, of Feilding, was married at St. Jobn's Church, Feilding, on Wednesday to Mr Alex. Williams, of "St. Lawrence" Station, Otane, Hawke's Bay. Miss Sugden, wbo was given away by her brotlier, Captain Vivian Sugden (Masterton) was a charming Spring bride in a beautiful gown of powder blue _ geprgette daintily tucked at tbe waist-line and finisbed with accordion-pleated side panels. Her blue capeline was simply trimmed iritb a small posy to tone and sbe carried a lovely bouquet of pale pink blossoms. The Rev. F. H. Potrie was the officiating clergyman. Following tbe ceremony a small reception was held at tbe residence _ of tbe bride' s mother, only immediate friends being present. Mrs Sugden received her guests bandsomely_ gowned in black georgette pannelled witb ivory lace-veiled georgette and bankok straw hat. When Mr and Mrs Alex. Williams later left by oar for a tour_ of tbe north, Mrs Williams was wenring a smart tailored suit of smoke-blue clotb, bankok hat to tone and musquasli coat.
