The St. Matthew's Parish fair and sale of worlc, wliich is to take place in the sclioolroom, Hastings, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. next Saturday, is being held in aid of thvee particularly deserving causes — the Abbotsford's Children's Home, missions, and the improvement of the church grounds and interior. Tt is dilficult to nnagine that there is anyone unwilling to support such objects, but if there happen to be such people tliey may come to the affair with perfecfc confidence thatif they are rnerelv looking for bargains, fun, music, afternoon tea, and othev such things, they will be assured of a profltahle and entertaining time. Gifts of produce and other saleable articles, and assistance of any kind will be gratefuHy accepted. Perishahle gootls sjhould be left at St. Matthew's sclioolroom, Eastbourne street, on Saturday morning. Other goods may be left at any time this week at the sclioolroom or at the vicarage. Nearly tivo hundred bealitiful nietnres, beauti fully framed, are now on viejv daily at the vicarage between 2 p.m. to 4 p m.. and 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and are being sold -at extraordhiarily low prices.
