Ward, of Kilbirnie, Wellington, was married to Mr Xorman Eric Heilry Erickson, only sOn of Mr and Mrs H. C. Ericksoii,. of High street, Dannevirke, in Dannevirke, a few days ago. The Rev. H. White -officiated, while appropriate music and the Wedding Marcli was played hy Mrs H. T. .Tames, tlie church orgaiiist. Tlie bride, wlio was given away hy her l'atlier, loolced very swfeet in a dainty ffock of ivory ciepe de chine, with' radium lace inset in sleeves and bodice, the veil being fasteued with o range hlossoms and the bouqnet carried was of cyclamen, freesias and maidenliair fern. ' In attendanoe were three bridesmaids. Miss Olive Erickson, sister of the bridegroom, liad a very becoming froclt of mauye georgette, Miss lvv Smith, cousin of the bride, w.as in lemon georgette, and Miss May Erickson, sister of the bridegroom, in pale pipk, each of the maids weaving also caps of sillc net witli circlets of leaves to match and carryinp- bouqnets' to tone with their froc-ks. Thev also wore cold armlets, the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Laurence Pedder attended the bridegroom as best man and Messrs Arthur and Ronald Ward, hvothers of the bride. were the groomsmen. Following the ceremony an adjournment was made to Mrs Anderson's tearooms, where ahont 86 gnests wero' entertaintkl. ATrs Ward, motlier of the bride. receiving in a becoming dress of navy erepe de ehine. with radium lace and hlaclc satin liat with osprey. Mrs Erickson, motlier of the bridecroom. wore a navv blue froclc witli fox f"r and liat to tone. After recei-"-iug the felicitafions of their friends tlie youlig people left hv car for a trip to Auckland, the bride trayelling in a frock of saxe blue renp with fox f ur, the gift of the bridegroom. The new home will he in Dannevirke aud will he eraced witli a liost of valuable and useful gifts, ineluding severn] cheques.
