The Meteorological Department's foreeast at noon to-day, for the folloiving 24 hours, was as follows: "Tlie indicatioiis are for nioderate ivesterly winds, veering' by ivest to nortli. Tliere is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather, with mild temperatures. Barometer, falling sloivly; seas, moderate; tides, moderate."
