Blood- stained, with tufts of hairs clinging to the mndguai'd, an aba'noned car wliich was found in the suburb of Strathfield, led to the arrest of a young man 011 a charge of manslaughter of James Lewis. The deaths frojn motor accidents during the iveek-end totalled seven. Three men wero kiled in a lorry smash at Maitand.
