HAVELOCK SPORTS
MEETING OF CLUB COMMITTEE. At the meeting of the cominittee oi the Havelock Amateur Athletic Club last evening, Messrs E. C. Stratton (chairman), A. Honeylun. F. Neivriek, J. Beaumont, E. Leicester. E. Lay, J. Minogue, Drummond and H. Ridgway were present-. Admiral Lawson was elected chairman _ and Mr E. C. Stratton was elected vice-chairman. The great topic of discussion was the procuring of a suitahle gu-ound for recreation purposes and to liave a permanent track available tliroughout the year. A cominittee of four, to gain information and f o reporL all prospects to the club, was appointed.
