AIR TRANSPORT TO YORIG SHIRE. Prince George's Enthusiasm.
RUGBY. Oct. 10. The King's eldest and youngest sons, the Prince of Wales and Prince George made separate journeys hy air to Yorkshire to-day. The Prince of AA'ales left Hendou by aeroplane for Harewood, near Leeds. to attend the funeral of the Earl of Harewood. The aeroplane was piloted hy Air Fielden, the Prince'D personal pilot. Prince George left the Prince of AVales' private landing ground ' at AVindsor in. a service aeroplane pilotod by Squadron-Leader Dou, and flew to Hull to open the Alunicipal aerodrome. The aerodrome is one of the air stations in a cliain heing forined in the north of England by a private company. Prince George said he had deeided to increase his knowledge of modern methods of transport by undertaking the journey bv air. It liad been a most enjoyable experience and oue which he hoped to repeat when visiting other parts of the country. Tlie evolution of air transport was amazing, and it was apparent to all that in future no city or town would be able to hold its own without adequate facilities for aircraft.
