The Meteorological Department's fovecast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, wqs as follows: "The indications are for moderate, southerly winds, later changing to northerly wiiids, modevate to strong. There is a prospect of fine weather, days bright and night s cold. Barometer, littie movement ; tides, moclerate ; seas, smooth."
