MR A. HARRIS SUCCUMBS. M.RS HARRIS IMPROVING. At 6.30 o'clock last nigbt, the death oceurrecl of Mr Arehie Harris, of Waipukurau, who was so seriouslv injured in the motor aeeident near Paki Paki on Wednesdaj' last. In the acc-ident, the deeeascd sustained verv severe injuries, and on his entrance to Royston Hospital it was realised that there was litile hope for his recoverey. His condition never showed anv marked improvement, hut he was conscious for most of the timo, and he bore his terrible suft'ering with patience and fortitude right to tlie end. Mrs Harris. who was also injured, is still in hospital, hut_ her condition is reported to be much improved.
