RACE FROM WELLINGTON. WIN FOR DR. WILSON. The Hastings TToming Cluh flew a raee from Wellington on Saturday. Tlie birds were" libevated hy Mr Elliott in a sti-ong northerly wind. and wlien the birds arrived they were verv scattered' ;ind, looked as if they had enconntered some verv bad weather on tbe journev. The race resulted in an easv win for Dr. T-f. M. Wilson, the result being as follows: — Dr. H. M. Wilson' s r.c.p.li.. No. 167. 1036.6 vds. per min.. 1; Dr. Wilson's b.c.p.h., No. 305, 1029.3 vds., 2: Dr. Wilson's b.c.p.h., No. 522, 1024 yds.. 3. Other lofts were: G. Fox. A. Harrison, F. Holmes. Foot and Gallagher. The birds will be hampered for Picton on Wednesday evening.
