HEUGHAN SAYS GOOD-BYE TO--NIGHT IN NAPIER.
_ Music lovers fn Napier have always given William Heughan a very warm welcome; he has >von his way into the .hearts of everyone through his great artistry and the charm of his magnetic personality. There will doubtless be a large audience to-night in Napier, to bid this popular singer farewell. In future the New Zealand theatregoers will know hiru only on the' screen, for the great actor-singer intends to go on the "talkies," ahd hy that medium reach a larger public. Mechani^ed music seems to have completely captured the pubhc imagination, and it is only those who have henrd Heughail in person who will realise liow much of his personalit^ and cliarm will be absent on the screen. . Heughan has made many friends in New; Zealand, and to say good-bye is always snd. He has promised to sing as many of the old . favourilo songs as possible. Dq . not miss the opportunity of hearing them for the last time and so make .his farewell a memorable one.
