CHRISTCHURCH, Last night. The second day of tlie New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting C'lub's Spring meeting was hekl. The attendance was very large and the course in fast order. The tote investments were £70,808. compared with £40,217 on the corresponding day of last year, an ihcrease of £30,561. Concluding results: — November Handicap, 2 miles. — 3 Real Light 1, 6 Genuine 2, 2 Vendome 3. Won by a neck. Time, 4.28 3-5. Metropolitan Handicap, of 2 miles. — Sunshower .1, 6 Muriel de Oro 2, Great Logan 3. Won by a length. Time, 4.29 4-5. Sockburn Handicap, 2 miles. — 1 Koro Petcr 1, 2 Western Voyage 2, 6 Niglitborn 3. Won by two lengths. Time 4.32. Sprinters Handicap, of 1 mile. — 4 Brentloc 1, Jean -McElwyn 2, 8 Bessie Logan 3. Won bv a length. Time, 2.S 4-5.
