RAVAGES OF BUSH FIRE. 200 PERSONS HOMELESS.

(Receivd This Day, 1 p.m.) OTTAWA, Nov. 14. A report from Edmondton, Alberta, states that all the 200 inhabitants of ihe village of Thovhild, 50 miles north of here, are homeless, many withotit clothing and all without rootr, but are being sheltered on available floorspace in farmhouses following a bush fire last evening. The fire, which was swept by tlie wind. was like an inferno and was upon the town almost before tlie danger was realised. There was 110 loss of life. though some suffered burns. The majority of the children escaped in tlieir nightclothes. The loss is estimated at 150,000 dollars.
