SUCCESS OF HAWKE'S BAY EXHIBITORS. Altliougli Hawke's Bay exliihitors at the Wanganui Show on Wednesday and Thursday were to be found only in the horse, kennel and lieedlewo-k sections, tliey received a very goid filiare of the chief awards. In the horse section Mrs A. W. Parsous' (Waipukurau) Yernier was first m the mediuni weight hack, and best paced and mannered hack classes, and second in the lady's hack class, Lesides gaining the hack championshiD. With Comet Mrs Parsous also won the leaping competition, steeplechase siyle, and tlie wire jnmp (gentlenun only). In the kennel section Mr W. D Hill, Havelock North, secured a first and three third prizes for Airedale terriers. Mr T. W. Munro, Nalder, swept tlie board in the English setter classes, winmng six first and five speeials, including the Wanganui I'ennel Club's trophy for best pointer or setter, special for best of opposite sex, and special for best dog or bitcn (ierriers included). Mr Munro aho v,on the Sporting Dog Stakes. Mr M. F. Woodward, Napier, secured a first and Mrs T. Woodward a second for whippets. In the rough- coated collie c,asses, E. Vogtherr, Hastings, secured firsts in the limit and open classes ior bitches, and second in the nonsporting dog stakes.
