GISBORNE, This dav. "This young man called at the police station last night and stated that he wished to give himself up," stated Sergeant Wade, Avhen Artliur Willoughby Brassey, aged 22, appeared at the Police Court this morning charged with the misappvopriation of moneys from the Waiapu Pastorai Industral Association, of wh.ich he was secretary. 'Accused," saicl the Sergeant, "stated that the discrepancy was £170. The police have not had time to investigate tlie matter." A remand of eight days was granted.
