Bowling. — Gifford (H.S.O.B.) seven wickets for 35 runs, Nairu (T.C.O.B.) three for 26. Interesting junior games were also played and a commencement was made with the third grade. Champions Beaten. T.C.O.B. Defeated By Heretaunga T.C.O.B., last year's champions, went down to Heretaunga in a. mateli that attracted a large gallery of spectators. After T.C.O.B. liad made 146 on the first day. Heretaunga ran up 254 for eight wickets on Saturday, Hudson playing one of the best innings seen on the park for a long time for 117 not out. the first ceutury of the year. Bowling for Tech., Nairn took three wickets for 26 runs. Technical played out time in theiv second innings, losing six wickets for 138 runs, O'Brien making 62 not out.
