PECULIAR ACCIDENT
LAD BREAKS BOTH WRISTS. CAUGHT BY A WIRE WHEN JUMPING FROM A FENOE. On Saturday, George Mollctb, son of Mr axxd Mrs H. Mollett, of Bay Viexv, liad a niost unfortnnate accidenb. It appears that the lad. a sxxtlx staxxdard pupils of the Esk Viexv Scbool, xvas sitting on tbe top rail of one of tbe fences at tbe Petane Sale Yards xvlxen be attemptcd to jxxmp to the ground. His boot, hoxvever, caught in a piece of xvire, and to sax-e bis lxead from striking tbe ground he tbrew his bands forxvard. Tbe sudden jar resulted in hotli xvrists beiug broken imme.diately above tbe xvrist joints. Such an occurrence is particularly unfortunate in viexv of tlxe boy's record at scbool.
