Keefe admitted failing to attend drill. "This young man has been away on a i'arm for two months and he ha's missed liis drill, although I understand he is now attending regularly. I have had him in my office for over an hour to-day having a heart-to-heart talk with hira. That is the only way of dealing with these cases. It should be impressed on these young men that by attending drill and wearing the King's uniform they are doing something for their counti-y." The Magistrate said he would adjourn the case for six months in view of the fact that the youth had made good. "If I get a good report he will hear no more about it." he added.
