JOHANSSON AND YANCE MEET. VICTORY FOR THE FORMER.
DUNEDIN, Last niglit. The Dunedin wrestling season was concluded to-night when Wai Johans■son, 13 stone, heavy-weight champion of Finland, heat Farnier Vance, 12.3, light heavy-weight champion of Canada by two fails to one. The contest was a hard oue and Vance' s_ spectacular display was not as much in evidence as usual. Yance secured a submission fall with a toe holcl, leg lock and arm holcl in the tliivd round. In tlie concluding rounds Johansson was doing inost of the attacking, Yance showing remarkable resistance and capacitv for extricating himself from difficult sitnations. Johansson secured' a fall in the sixth round with an arm scissors and another fall in tlie seventli round with a short arm .scissors ancl arm bar, Vance was a little unlucky, as in the second round the gong savetl Johansson from a certain fall, •
