TRANS-PACIFIC STEAMERS.

The Wairuna was expected to leave Los Angeles on Friday lasfc for Lyttelton, Dunedin, New Plymouth and Napier. The vessel is due afc Napier early in January. The Waihemo will replace the Wairua in the nexfc fcrip. The Port Darwin is en route from New York with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin. The ship is due at Auckland on December 4, and at Napier a few days later. The Mahia is en route from London, with general cargo for discharge afc Auckland, Wellington and Napier. She is due at Auckland on November 20. The Maimoa is expected to arrive at Napier on December 27 from Auckland to load frozen meafc and wool for London. She will sail finally from Napier on December 30 for London, via Panama. The Waihemo is expected to leave Vancouver on January 5, San Franeisco on January 18 and Los Angeles on January 20 -for Napier, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. She is due afc Napier on February 13 . The Australind leaves New York on November 30 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The City of Wellington leaves New York on December 14 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin.
