At a council meeting of the New j South Wales Swiunning Association a I lotter was received from the Manly Glub protesting against Ihe swimmer,'] Ryan, being inatched against Bridson at Auckland tlie day after he left the boat, Avhere he had been v,ery sick. A motion that the Australian Swimming Union be censured for failiug to prevent unfair treatmeut meted out to Ryan and Griffiths in New Zealand was earried unanimously.
