FIVE MEN ARRESTED. . Amount Of £60,000 Involved.

SYDNEY, Dec. 19. A l'ortnigbt's Inquiries by detectives have resulted in the arrest of five men for an alleged business fraud involving £60,000, The firm with which the men are conneeted came into existence some montbs ago trading on tbe pinety day bill system, buying huge quantities of merchandise fro: 1 warebouses and selling at ridiculously low priqes to retailers. The firm has now gone out of existence. Bills fell due at the bqginning of Decemher and, aecording to official statements, were not met, The five men have been charged with conspiracy.
