Crowle proved tlie toupliest o])pnnont Donovan has yet mot and lmld the Waitara hoxed on points nntil lialf wav was reachcd. Donovan came with a rnsh qver the latter stnges and earned a points decision. Crowle outshone his oppnn°nt in close work, swinging a hard riuht effeetivelv to Donovan's hody. He did not, however. have a connter for Donovan's straight left and several tirnes was hard pressed. Several willing exehanges liad the crowd in a frenzv and they were amazed when 011 ocension the fnry of the Australian's onslaught caused Donovan to retreat.
