An excellent night' s entertahiineufc was provided in the 3funicipal Theatre last night, when tlie sports que'en committee held their- concert to a large audience. A wide programme of items was presented, and eacli performanee was loudly applauded, the audience receiving the whole programme with euthusiasm. The gramophone and records used were kindlv provided by Lockyer's rausic stores, and include.d a choice selec-tion. Perhaps the most interesting items of all were the tableaux presented by the Sports and Technieal School queen candidates respectively. Both tabieaux were verv picturesque, and the votes recorded for these at the end of th performanee were : Technieal School 163, Sports 94.
