TARADALE ON THE MAP.
"HIGH AND DRY."
(To the Editor.) Sir, — in view of tlie very interesting deseription of Taradale, and its environments, which appeared in your last week's issue, it reniains a puzzle to me, and ereates a doubt as to wh'ether the demand for sivamp bnilding sites of an arexv ot one-eigbth of an acre is genuine, or hoost. Taradale cis ti suburban resulence is ideal from evex v point of view, and the progress ifc has made of late years is a clear pxoof that the above suburb provides eyry reaso'nable lequirement for a home-seekej-, where huildiug sites admirably situated cau be obtained, eixtaiiing 110 Hood risks or wash-cuta. 'Ihe bus service froni Napier to Tara.dale is all that reason requires. Safety first is n. slogan that will appeal fc® those who purpose settling in a locality. — I am. etc..
