The Hawke's Bay District Committee met yesterday afterxxoon. Presenb: Alessrs H A. Russell (chairman), G. D. Beatson, J. H. Colehourne, C. E. Twist, J. H. Macniven. W. H. Gaisford and W. J. Wood. The New Zealaxxd Racing Confercnee wrote ro various licexxses and oix the licenses granted at the last meeting of the executive. It was resolved to place the name of an appx-exxtice on the Refcrce list for leaving his emiiloyer without xxotice. Programixxes from Woodville and Napier Park Racing Clubs were approved. Lists of fines and inspectors' reports from Woodville and the Hawke's Bay Jockey Cluh were received. Applicatioxxs for licenses were dealt witli and ax~e to be forwarded oxx to the racing conference. Evidence iix the inquiry held by tlie Napier Park Racing Cluh was eonsidered and dealt with.
