Mauv sninrfc and beautilul frocks wero worn by the gucsts at tlie Holden — Wiiitc wedding, some of the relatives' dresses being as follows : — Mrs Alien, of Kopua, grandmother oi: the bridc. was weaving a handsomc frock of blaclc satin and lacc relieved with bcigc georgette under a black crepe de chine coat, and black hat. Her beautiful bouquet was of Autumn tintcd flowers. Mrs R. Shield, of Waiwhenua, aunt of bride, was in an attractive biscuit lace frock worn with picture hat of biscuit lace straw. Mrs E. D. HoJt, aunt of bride, cfiective navy georgette and boige lace with uneven hem, navy hat trimmed with a pretfy {lower.
Mrs H. H. Edwards, of Kopua, aunt of the bride charming frock oi navy iiguretl crepe de chine worn with navy hat finished with clustcr of flowers. Mrs C. White, aunt of the bride, prettily draped iroek qf gi;ey eire lace, Ihe sldrt heing fashioned with tu o tiers, and hat to tone. hliss M. White, most becoming frock of ftornl ninon in tones of leuion, hlue and white, the frilled skirt having an uneven hem, and heing finished lVith a how. Her hat was of lemon straw,; Miss U. Allen (cousin of the bride),-grac-eful fiock of beige and fawn lace with prettily pointed skirt; large beige hat. , Miss B. Shield (cousin of the bride), smartly flowered black and cherry chiffon with flared skirt and beautiful black hat. Mrs Robertson Lawson, (aunt of the bridegroom), extremely smart frock of green moire falling long at the back, worn with little coat of sanie eolour and matorial, also falling long at the back; prettv- Bangkok hat of same shade. . . Miss G. Harrison, (cousin of the bridegroom), attractive apple green crepe de 'chine frock and green hat to tone.
