INDIAN ARMY GRANT. Talk Of "Tissue Of Lies." (Eeceived This Day, 2 p.m.) DELHI, March 9. The All India Legislative Assembly on Saturday threw out the whole army grant. One speaker, Jinnah, a Mohammedan leader, desori'bed Sir William Birdwood' s speech as a tissue of lies. This amazing remark passed uncballenged by Mr Patel, President of the Assembly, wlio indeed, when a European member queried it, called tlie interrupter to order.
