lffie Meteorological Department's forecast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, was as follows : "The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, and baclcing by west to south. The weather will be cloudy to overcast, with scattered showers, and it will probably become colder. Baro- . meter, * rising slowly; seas and tides, moderate."
