ACCL1MAT1SAT10N AFFA1RS HAWKE'S BAY SOCIETY MEETING GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS. The monthly meeting of the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation Society was held last night, Mr J. H. Edmundson presiding over a small attendance. The Department of Internal Affairs wrote stating that the .necessity tor supplying a tag for every deer shot had been removed, The department also ivi'ote deelnrmg an application hy farmers for a sanctuary on the Tuki Tuki river. Mr T. Pickett, the society' s agent in Hastings{ tendered his resignation, wliieh ivas ac'cepted with regret. Messrs Land and Heigliway were appointed in his place. The resignation from the society ot Mr I i. S. Moss was ac.cepted with regret ' •
