BIG GATHERING IN HASTINGS. G. GOLDING TO &PPEAR. The Hastings Amateur Athletic Club lias received definite advice that G. Golding, tlie Australian champion qunrter-miler, will appear at Hastings and take part in the local club's electric light sports meeting on Show night. Tlie opportunity of witnessing this outstanding athlete at Nelson Park next week should not be missed Miss Norma Wilson, the champion lady sprinter of Gisborne, and holder of the Hawke's Bay-Povertyc Bay SubCentre championship, will alsp be cdm l/eting. i Negotiations are being made for tbe nppearance of R. A. Rose and J. W Savidan, as well as F. Grose, the champion .Christchurch cyclist. With this strong representative team supporting our local athletes really excellent evening's entertalnment awaits the public. '
