The Meteorological Department' s torecast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, was as follows ; "Th© indications are for southerly winds, moderate and veering by west to soutfi. There is a prospect of fine weather, days. bright, and nights cold. The barometer has a rising tendency, hut little movement. Seas, moderate; tides, good."
