The New Zealand Congregational Unjon resolved that the union was prepared to consider the question of organic church union whenever the fcub--iect was re-opened by sister denominations with a view to the formation of a United Church of New Zealand similar to that in Canada. l In the meantime the union should ! "onsolidate and develop the Congregational Church of New Zealand. A deputation was received from the New Zealand Alliance. Support of the Congregational Church against liquor traffic was i olecjged by the chairman of the ase^mbly, the Rev. F. De Liste, of f Napier.
