"PLAYER."

To thd Editor.) Sir, — I note in reading your report' of the meeting of the Hastings Rugby Football Sub-Union Mr Insull stated tbat the average age of the . Napier fifteen is 18 years, and that the Hastings High School first fifteen is only 16 years. Being a member of the team last year, I should like to point out that the average age cf the Napier Boys' High School first fifteen _ wa« 16.06 years, only two players being J18 years of age and none over. It is c/p.y fair to all teams that this correction should be made. — I am, etc..
