The Meteorological Department'B forecast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, was as follows "The indications are for moderats winds and freshening. There is a prospect of fair weather, and it will probably become warmer, ■bufc increasing haze and cloudiness later. Barometer, falling slowly ; seac, moderate; tides, poor."
