THE HON. E. A. RANSOM IN NAPIER. TO MEET COUNTY DEPUTATION. The Minister of Public Works, tb.e Hon. E. A. Ransom, arrives in Napier from Wellington this evening and at 7.30 will meet a deputation from the Hawke's Bay County Council, which has an agenda of no less than 20 items to place before him. Included in this agefida will he the question of the future of the Napier-Taihape road and to-morrow the Minister will carry out an inspection of portions of that highway The Mayor, Mr J. Vigor Brown, has not yet been inforpied of any fux-ther deputations to wait upon the Minister.
