FAIR WEATHER.
The Meteorological Department's forecast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, was as followst "Hie indications are for southerly, moderate winds. There * is a prospect of fair weather. The night will probably be very cold, with frosts inland. Barometer, rising slowly; seas, rough; tides, moderate."
