A GREAT TRIBUTE
DURABILITY OF ENGLISH CARS. TWO EXPERIENCES RELATED. A great tribute to the value of English cars was paid by Mr E. Newbigin, at the public meeting in Hastings on Saturday night. He stated that in 1912, over "17 years ago, he purchased an English car in Britain, and in that time it had not cost liim £17 for repairs. He added that ffie car had been used very esten sivly ,• and then it was eonverted into a lorry, which was still beihg used daily in'liis business.
