The Meteorological Department's foreeast at noon to-day, for the following 24 hours, was as follows: "The indications are for moderate nortlxex-ly winds, later freshening. There. i's a prospect of fair weather, and it will probably become wai-m- „ er. Barometex-j failing slowly; seas, smooth ; tides, poor."
